JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead Workers' Compensation pricing studies and rate level indications
- Support state rate, rule and form filings and DOI interrogatories
- Client-facing consulting role preparing reports and presentations
- Work with Practice Leaders and mentor junior staff
- Use Excel, Access and SQL for data preparation and analysis
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Workers' Compensation actuarial experience
- State rate, rule and form filing experience
- Rate level indications and pricing studies
- Actuarial data adjustments and data preparation
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 5–7 years of actuarial experience focused on Workers' Compensation
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, or related field
- Proven experience with rate development, trend analysis, and loss cost evaluations
- Proficient in Excel, Access, and SQL
- Experience working with insurance carriers or MGAs on filings
