HIGHLIGHTS

Mid-level Retirement (Defined Benefit) consultant in Phoenix, AZ supporting ERISA compliance, annual testing, Form 5500 preparation, and valuation report coordination. You will serve as the single point of contact for plan sponsors and advisors, oversee plan associates, and coordinate with actuaries and auditors on plan conversions and audits.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Serve as single point of contact for sponsors and advisors on DB plan matters
Prepare and review valuation reports, annual testing, loans, distributions, and Form 5500
Oversee and mentor plan coordinators and coordinate with actuaries and auditors
3–5+ years Defined Benefit experience required
Experience with Relius desirable; strong Excel and financial analysis skills required

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

Defined Benefit plan administration
ERISA compliance and Form 5500 preparation
Annual testing (ADP/ACP, Top Heavy, 410(b), 415, 401(a)(4), 402(g))
Valuation report and participant statement preparation
Analysis of financial data

KEY REQUIREMENTS

3+ years of Defined Benefit retirement plan experience
Experience analyzing financial data and preparing valuation reports
Knowledge of ERISA compliance and Form 5500 filing/testing
Strong Excel, Word, and Outlook skills
Ability to communicate with clients in person and by phone
