Associate-level Defined Benefit retirement plan consultant supporting ERISA compliance, plan design, Form 5500 preparation, and DB plan valuations in Pennsylvania/United States. You will be the single point of contact for sponsors and advisors, manage annual testing (ADP/ACP, Top Heavy, 410(b), 415), and coordinate valuation reports and participant statements. The role involves client meetings, mentoring coordinators, and working with internal actuaries and auditors.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Serve as single point of contact for sponsors and advisors on DB plan matters
  • Manage Form 5500 preparation, distributions, loans, and ERISA compliance
  • Oversee annual testing and valuation reports (ADP/ACP, Top Heavy, 410(b), 415)
  • Client-facing role with in-person and phone meetings and coordinator oversight
  • 3–5 years of Defined Benefit experience; Relius experience desirable

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Defined benefit plan administration
  • Form 5500 preparation and ERISA compliance
  • Annual testing and plan valuations (ADP/ACP, Top Heavy, 410(b), 415, 401(a)(4))
  • Reviewing loan and distribution processing
  • Experience analyzing financial data

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of Defined Benefit plan experience (3–5 years preferred)
  • Experience analyzing financial data related to retirement plans
  • Hands-on experience with annual testing and valuation reports
  • Knowledge of ERISA, IRS, and Department of Labor reporting requirements
  • Strong Excel, Word, and communication skills
