Work You'll Do
As an Actuarial Analyst, you will:
- Work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, engaging with clients across industries, disciplines, and geographies.
- Collaborate with teams to build financial and mathematical models that drive organizational performance and help clients make informed business decisions.
- Analyze and interpret large data sets using statistical methods to quantify risk and advise clients on complex business challenges.
- Perform in specific actuarial areas, grow related skills, and deliver exceptional results to clients as you align with one of Deloitte's five Communities of Practice: Health, Property & Casualty, Life, Rewards & Wellbeing, or Mergers & Acquisitions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective client and team interactions
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills to drive innovation and operational improvements
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to communicate across Deloitte teams and client stakeholders
- Quick to learn and apply new concepts, frameworks, and emerging technologies
- Proactive in managing personal and professional growth and expanding consulting skills
- Solid understanding of Windows-based systems and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree completed by Spring/Summer 2026 in these or related areas of study
- Actuarial Science
- Mathematics
- Statistics
- Strong academic track record (3.0 cumulative GPA required, 3.2 cumulative GPA preferred).
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Must live within a commutable distance to your assigned office (g. 100-mile radius) with the ability to commute daily, if required, upon start date
- Must be at least 18 years of age at time of employment
- Completion of at least one exam offered by the Society of Actuaries, Casualty Actuarial Society or comparable organization prior to July 1, 2026
