Serve as the actuarial subject-matter expert for product launch, pricing, and filings while partnering with Product, Underwriting, IT and Compliance. Director position based in Hartford, CT with hybrid or remote work options.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead Dental & Vision pricing and own analysis of pricing and claims experience
- Actuarial SME for product launch, rate manual review and regulatory filings
- Partner with Product, Underwriting, IT and external consultants on filings
- Hybrid/remote role — local hires expected in office Tue–Thu (3 days/week)
- Director-level role requiring career ASA or FSA and 8+ years pricing experience

- experience preparing/signing rate & trend filings
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 8+ years in an actuarial pricing function
- At least 5 years pricing Dental and ideally Vision products
- Career ASA or FSA required and must meet signing qualification standards
- Experience pricing for Priority Business (<500 employees) market segment
- Strong Excel skills; ThoughtSpot knowledge preferred
