Mid-level Development Product Owner embedded in USAA's Life Actuarial & Reinsurance team. You will translate actuarial and business needs into user stories, own an Agile backlog, and partner with developers and actuaries to deliver life and annuity product solutions. Role is based in Charlotte, NC (other campus options listed) with an expected in-office cadence of four days per week.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Serve as product owner for Life & Annuity actuarial initiatives
- Write and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and maintain backlog
- Collaborate with actuaries, developers, UX, QA and stakeholders
- Hybrid role – requires 4 days per week in office at listed campuses
- Mid-level role requiring ~4 years of relevant delivery/analysis experience
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Process improvement and project delivery
- Business and requirements analysis, writing user stories
- Working within Agile and other delivery methodologies
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 4+ years of experience in process improvement, project delivery or BA work
- Proven experience analyzing business requirements and writing user stories
- Proficient with Agile and other delivery methodologies
- Ability to execute user acceptance testing and production validation
- Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
