Director-level Health actuarial pricing role for dental and vision products in Columbus, Georgia, within Aflac’s U.S. Actuarial & Product division. You’ll lead experience analysis, pricing models, regulatory filings, underwriting support, and strategic rating decisions, while managing actuarial work and advising executive management. The role is hybrid near Columbus or Columbia, SC, and remote elsewhere in the continental US.

Requirements

Must have

Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics or a related field
Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) designation
10 years of professional job-related work experience
5 years management experience

Strongly preferred

Strong knowledge of dental and vision products, operations, and regulatory environment
Excellent presentation, oral, and written communications skills
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, including ability to communicate effectively with all levels

Nice to have

Membership in the American Academy of Actuaries
Insurance industry designations
