Director-level US Health actuarial role with Brown & Brown, supporting commercial employer health, stop-loss, and broader healthcare clients. You will lead complex consulting engagements spanning pricing, reserving, forecasting, product design, and care-model evaluation while advising executive stakeholders and developing actuarial tools.
Requirements
Must have
Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, data science, economics, or related field
12+ years of healthcare actuarial experience across areas such as commercial healthcare, stop-loss, H&W consulting, care management evaluation, reserving, pricing, pharmacy/PBM analytics, alternative funding, actuarial model development, and healthcare data sources
Strongly preferred
FSA strongly preferred; ASA with significant senior-level experience considered
Advanced proficiency in SQL, SAS, VBA, R, or Python
Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights
Exceptional communication skills, with ability to convey complex actuarial concepts to non-technical audiences
Demonstrated leadership, project management, and client-facing experience
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive initiatives forward
