HIGHLIGHTS

Director-level health actuarial analytics role in Boston at athenahealth. JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Lead actuarial forecasting for utilization, revenue, and cost across products
  • Manage pricing analyses and rate-setting for Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers
  • Build financial models and dashboards for monthly and quarterly forecasting
  • Mentor actuarial and analytics staff and review methodological work
  • Hybrid/flexible Boston-based director role reporting to Exec Director of Corporate Finance

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • healthcare forecasting and utilization analytics
  • pricing and rate-setting for Medicare and Medicaid
  • commercial payer modeling
  • value-based contracting and risk adjustment analytics

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • ASA or FSA required
  • 8+ years of healthcare actuarial experience in forecasting, pricing, or utilization
  • Experience with Medicare and Medicaid contracts and commercial payer models
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and SAS
  • Demonstrated leadership managing projects and mentoring analytics staff
