HIGHLIGHTS

Director-level health actuarial role focused on reserving and financial reporting for a nonprofit regional health plan in Minnesota. You will design and maintain consolidated reserving models, produce monthly claims projections and variance reporting, support statutory actuarial opinions and audits, and lead actuarial staff. Onsite hybrid role based near Hopkins/Minnetonka, MN or Madison, WI.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Lead reserving design and maintain consolidated reserving models across books of business
Produce monthly fee-for-service claims projections and variance reporting
Support statutory actuarial opinions, financial audits, and provider settlement estimates
Manage and mentor actuarial staff and sign actuarial communications
Hybrid office role — ~3 days per week; open to Minnetonka, MN or Madison, WI candidates

Health insurance reserving and IBNR development
Provider settlement estimation and reporting
Statutory reporting and actuarial opinions support
Monthly claims projections and variance analysis

KEY REQUIREMENTS

10+ years of experience with at least 5 years of leadership experience
Fellowship in the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and ASA experience required
Member, American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA) required
Demonstrated expertise in reserving, IBNR development, and variance analysis
Must be legally authorized to work in the US; no visa sponsorship
