Director-level P&C actuarial leadership role open to residents of Connecticut, Delaware, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Vermont. You will lead pricing, reserving, predictive modeling, reinsurance, and financial planning across multiple lines while advising senior leadership. The role combines department management with hands-on work on complex actuarial projects and regulatory rate filings.
Requirements
Must have
Minimum of 10 years of actuarial experience in pricing and predictive modeling
Minimum of 5 years as a strategic leader and manager of an actuarial department in P&C environment
Strongly preferred
FCAS designation from the Casualty Actuarial Society
Strong knowledge of personal lines and/or commercial lines P&C products
High degree of executive presence and business acumen
Superior analytical, research and problem-solving skills
Ability to work with small data volumes and interpret low-credibility results
Detail-oriented mindset with ability to identify anomalies and investigate root causes
Demonstrated initiative, autonomy and commitment to process improvements
Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics or related field
