Director-level health actuarial role focused on value-based care (VBC) financial modeling and projections. You will develop and maintain VBC projection and valuation models, reconcile settlements, and partner with clinical, strategy, legal, and business development teams. Role is based in Nashville, TN or may be performed remotely and reports to the VP of Actuarial Services.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead actuarial modeling for value-based care programs and financial projections
- Develop projection and valuation models; reconcile VBC settlements monthly
- Partner with clinical, strategy, legal, and business development teams
- Director-level role reporting to VP of Actuarial Services; Nashville or remote
- Use Excel and code (R/Python/SQL) to build analytical tools and trends
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Value-Based Care economics and arrangements
- CMS HCC risk score model for non-ESRD and ESRD populations
- Healthcare claims data analysis and projection modeling
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or related field
- Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) required
- 8–10 years of healthcare experience
- Experience with Value-Based Care economics and arrangements
- Familiarity with CMS HCC risk score models and R/Python/SQL
