JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Director of Actuarial Services for a nonprofit health plan (Minnetonka, MN or Madison, WI)
- Own pricing, experience studies, forecasting, and rate filings for commercial health products
- Lead and review analysts and consultants; sign rate filing certifications
- Partner with segment leadership on product design, risk adjustment, and financial targets
- Office role—onsite about 3 days per week (hybrid)
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Health actuarial experience
- Rate and premium setting experience
- Experience with ACA and related regulation
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 10+ years of experience and 5+ years of leadership experience
- Fellowship in the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and MAAA membership required
- Experience with health actuarial work (commercial health, ACA and rate setting)
- Legally authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship
