JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Lead US GAAP and statutory reserving and financial reporting for health products
  • Oversee reserve reviews, forecasting, and SOX controls for 10Q/10K filings
  • Support new product development and portfolio management
  • Manage and develop a team of actuarial professionals and a ~$3B budget
  • Use Moody's AXIS for actuarial modelling and financial reporting

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • US GAAP and statutory financial reporting
  • reserving process improvements and reserve reviews
  • 10Q/10K reporting and SOX controls
  • financial forecasting and long-term planning for health products

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and MAAA required
  • 10+ years insurance experience in US GAAP and statutory financial reporting
  • US qualified to sign as an Appointed Actuary (backup to AA)
  • Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, math, finance or related
  • Proficiency with Moody's AXIS actuarial software
