Your future team

You will be part of a dynamic team that oversees and aggregates the Annual Cash Flow Testing Process. While being an individual contributor, the candidate will have high visibility with senior management.

We want to hear from you today if you can
  • Develop a comprehensive CFT review package, consistent across models/product, including graphs/visuals. Work with model owners to develop and implement changes.
  • Evaluate and supplement the existing supporting information for the appointed actuary to sign off on adequacy testing.
    • Convert some micro strategies reports into Tableau
    • Include attribution of changes at model/product level
    • Summary of asset mix at model/product level including year over year changes
    • Liability inforce summary including riders/ITM levels and year over year changes
    • ALM metrics
    • Reinsurance summary
    • Market changes
    • Scenario changes
  • Other relevant information, that would be model or product specific
  • Implement AOM review/construction with the aggregation CFT team.
  • Build agenda for weekly CFT meetings and produce/review minutes of the meeting that would document key topics and decisions and include tracking and follow-ups of outstanding items.
  • Coordinate Regulatory exam when additional reviews from regulators occur.
  • Coordinate Audit (with internal and external parties)
  • Review of the VM-31 report
  • Involvement in different ACLI task forces to keep the actuarial community abreast of changes in the regulatory landscape. Advise on implementation of new regulations.


What we are looking for
  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or related field
  • FSA designation in the Society of Actuaries
  • 10+ years of relevant actuarial experience
  • Prior experience with Financial Reporting, ALM/Hedging, Regulatory guidelines and valuation principles, Economic Scenario Generation Process, Financial Projections etc.
  • Experience in Cash Flow Testing is a plus
  • Prior management experience (people or project) will be a plus, not required.
  • Demonstrated record of performance in prior roles within the financial industry showing the ability to take ownership and initiative to achieve results
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Works under pressure and within time constraints to effectively accomplish individual and team objectives
  • Finds creative solutions to standardize and automate processes
  • Embraces change and quickly adapts to new methods and accountabilities

For positions based in Jersey City, NJ, the base salary range is $150,000-$200,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan. In addition, we're proud to offer a range of competitive benefits.
