HIGHLIGHTS

Director-level life actuarial role supporting life and annuity valuation, pricing, ALM and product management in Rosemont, IL. You will lead valuation and reserving work on GAAP/statutory bases, maintain AXIS pricing models and support ALM/hedging and reinsurance. The role includes project leadership and oversight of actuarial associates.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Director-level role focusing on life and annuity valuation, pricing, ALM and product management
Lead GAAP, statutory and tax reserve monitoring and statutory annual/quarterly statements
Maintain AXIS pricing models and design/price new life/annuity products
Support ALM, hedging, stress testing and reinsurance analysis
Oversee and mentor actuarial associates and lead cross-functional projects

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

Life and annuity valuation and reserving
Pricing and product development for life/annuity products
Asset-liability management and hedging
Statutory and GAAP reporting and annual/quarterly statements

KEY REQUIREMENTS

FSA designation or near-FSA is required
BS in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Finance, Statistics or related required
Minimum of 5 years of relevant insurance actuarial experience
Experience with GAAP and statutory valuation and reporting
AXIS experience strongly preferred for pricing/product roles
