Director-level life actuarial role focused on CFT and PBR valuation (VM-20) for life products in Houston, TX (hybrid). You will lead VM-20/VM-31 deliverables, the annual Asset Adequacy Test, assumption setting, model lifecycle and regulatory reporting, and manage a team of onshore and offshore staff.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead Life CFT and PBR (VM-20) statutory valuations and VM-31/AOM preparation
- Own annual Asset Adequacy Test (AAT) including model development and assumption setting
- Manage and mentor onshore and offshore actuarial staff and coordinate with Deloitte
- Hybrid role based in Corebridge hub offices (Houston, Jersey City, Woodland Hills), remote candidates considered
- Fellow of the SOA (FSA) with 2+ years post-Fellowship experience
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Life product valuation
- VM-20 / PBR statutory experience
- Asset Adequacy Test (AAT) development and execution
- Assumption setting and quarterly attribution analysis
- Model lifecycle and model risk policy implementation
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) required
- 2+ years of experience post-Fellowship attainment
- Life product valuation and VM-20/PBR experience
- Experience with Asset Adequacy Testing (AAT) and assumption setting
- Knowledge of AXIS and Prophet platforms is a plus
