JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Model and price life and annuity reinsurance transactions
- Own reserving, US GAAP and statutory valuation and financial projections
- Prepare reports for senior management, Board, rating agencies, regulators
- Hands-on model building and coding; Python/R and SQL/VBA knowledge helpful
- Onsite role based in New York; Director-level with 5–10 years' experience
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Reserving and US GAAP valuation
- Reinsurance transaction modelling and pricing
- Life and annuity product valuation and projections
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Recent FSA or similar level
- 5–10 years of relevant actuarial experience
- Strong knowledge of Statutory and US GAAP valuation
- Strong actuarial software knowledge
- Willing to work full-time in office environment (New York)
