JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Lead life insurance pricing and product development for the Consumer Market division
  • Manage a team of 3 actuarial professionals and develop talent
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and internal profit/risk governance for new products
  • Hybrid role — four days per week in the office (Newport Beach, CA or Omaha, NE)
  • Ideal for credentialed FSAs with significant life pricing experience

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • life insurance product development

  • regulatory pricing knowledge for life products
  • team leadership and talent development
  • project management and business partnering

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • FSA designation with 6+ years of related life pricing/product development experience
  • Direct experience developing individual life insurance products
  • Previous people management experience (managing a small actuarial team)
  • Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, math, finance, CS, or related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Prophet and R preferred
