Senior product development role within the Retirement Income Solutions (RIS) team at MetLife. You will analyze new regulatory frameworks (e.g., PBR), develop and modify reinsurance and annuity strategies, and lead initiatives to improve capital efficiency. This is a highly visible role reporting to the VP, Retail Annuity Reinsurance and R&D, and working closely with actuarial, reinsurance, treasury, risk, and finance teams.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Analyze and implement new regulatory frameworks (PBR) for RIS products
Develop reinsurance and annuity product pricing strategies
Lead capital efficiency and value-enhancement initiatives for RIS
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (reinsurance, treasury, risk, finance)

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

Annuities product development and pricing
Reinsurance strategy and pricing
ALM and regulatory frameworks (PBR)
Innovation or launch of new products/markets

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's in actuarial science, math, stats, economics, or related
FSA, ASA, or CFA with 5+ years insurance industry experience
Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to operate effectively in a matrixed environment
