JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Lead Prophet model development for immediate/deferred annuities and institutional products
  • Own valuation, projections, ALM and hedging modeling work
  • Manage and develop a team of 3 actuarial professionals
  • Work remotely, hybrid, or on-site (Newport Beach, CA) with relocation assistance
  • Collaborate with Pricing, Valuation, ALM, Hedging and IT teams

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Prophet modeling for annuity products
  • Annuity product knowledge (FIA, FA, IA, VA, RILA)
  • Institutional products (Stable Value, PRT, HSA, FABN, DCLI)
  • ALM and hedging modelling experience

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • 8+ years of actuarial experience
  • Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, CS, finance, math or related
  • Advanced, hands-on Prophet experience in annuity modelling
  • Experience with ALM, hedging, valuation and projections
  • Ability to lead and develop a small actuarial team
