Director-level life actuarial role focused on valuation and projection for Variable Annuities (VA) and RILA. You will oversee statutory valuation and asset adequacy analysis, lead a small team, and drive process improvements while working onsite 4 days/week in Omaha, NE (also options in Newport Beach, CA or Charlotte, NC). FSA designation and deep valuation experience are required.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Lead VA & RILA valuation and projection team
  • Oversee statutory valuation and asset adequacy processes
  • Manage a team of three actuaries/analysts
  • Prophet experience and familiarity with VM-21 and C3 RBC preferred
  • Hybrid: 4 days in office, 1 day remote (relocation assistance available)

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Statutory valuation and asset adequacy analysis
  • Experience mentoring and developing actuarial staff
  • Valuation controls and financial result analysis

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • FSA designation required
  • 8+ years of actuarial experience
  • At least 3 years post-FSA experience
  • Experience mentoring and developing actuarial staff
  • Ability to lead statutory valuation and asset adequacy analyses
