Job Description

The Global Pricing & Analytics Lead in GV&A for LIVE portfolio will lead pricing and analytics across pipeline and inline assets. This role works closely with other members of the Global Pricing & Analytics team, the Global Value & Access (GV&A) triad - i.e. Access Strategy and GHEOR leads, Local Value & Access affiliate teams, members in the Global Commercial Strategy & Operations (GCSO) Organization including Strategic Marketing and Global Decision Science & Insights leads, Finance, Legal, IT, G-ecosystem collaborators such as Global Program Strategy leads, Global Regulatory Affairs, and other relevant partners. This role reports to the Executive Director, Head of Global Pricing & Analytics within GV&A.

Core Job Responsibilities:

Therapeutic Area and Product Pricing Strategy

Lead Global Pricing & Analytics activities and deliverables related to therapeutic area pricing strategy in partnership with Global V&A Triad Leads (Access Strategy and GHEOR), local V&A teams, and other relevant key stakeholders (e.g. G.Ecosystem cross-functional partners).

Inline & New launches - key focus: Livdelzi, Hepcludex
  • Develop and refresh global pricing policies and contracting / IPM frameworks
  • Lead pricing intelligence and launch price performance tracking
  • Lead country launch sequence optimization for ongoing launch support

Pre-launch products / indications / lifecycle
  • Guide price assumptions in commercial assessment that inform G-ecosystem development and regulatory filing decisions
  • Undertake opportunity / risk assessments to inform pricing strategy throughout lifecycle
  • Lead country launch sequence optimization and indication sequence optimization

Pipeline TAs and products
  • Deliver pricing intelligence leveraging analogs, benchmarks, competitive intel
  • Guide price assumptions in commercial assessment that inform G-ecosystem development decisions
  • Contribute to payer and pricing market research

All LIVE portfolio
  • Guide LIVE products price assumptions in forecasts, in LRP and commercial assessments
  • Analyze impacts from major pricing reforms and integrate assumptions in decision forums
  • Lead pricing due diligence for key assets in Corporate Business Development opportunities leveraging internal/secondary intel, identifying price opportunities and risk scenarios


Pricing Analytics and Governance

Lead major markets global pricing governance for LIVE portfolio products, and serve as subject matter expert in pricing analytics
  • Guide price governance for LIVE portfolio products in major markets (i.e. G9) including business case review and support, seeking advice from with global and affiliate matrix as well as functional partners legal/finance to inform price proposals triage and decision-making, including at GPC (Global Pricing Committee)
  • Ensure proper documentation of LIVE products pricing in GPMS (Global Price Management System)
  • Monitor competitive price trends, build required pricing dashboards, and conduct necessary analog analyses
  • Drive necessary pricing analytical intelligence and tools leveraging third-party syndicated data resources as well as internal finance data
  • Build and deliver as-needed price modeling on price-access-volume tradeoffs
  • Track LIVE products pricing developments globally across key markets to support systematic price performance reviews at product and TA level


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree (required); MSc or MPhil (preferred) in Finance, Actuarial Sciences, Statistics, Health Economics, Econometrics, Mathematics, or related field.
  • Deep expertise in strategic and operational pricing, market access, and health economics
  • Relevant experience in Strategy / Finance / Forecasting / Analytics / Field Access experience
  • Understanding of value story needs and health technology assessment landscape
  • Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in designing pricing strategies, commercial execution, financial planning, and analytics
  • Proficiency in syndicated databases, Tableau, and Alteryx
  • Strategic data and analytical skills including expert-level Excel and BI tools
  • Ability to synthesize and analyze complex information, and develop recommendations
  • Experience with third-party pricing, health systems, HTA, and reimbursement data
  • Knowledge of global healthcare regulations, including market pricing and reference pricing rules


The salary range for this position is: $226,185.00 - $292,710.00. Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package.
