JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead FAA financial/actuarial engagements for employer-sponsored health and group benefits
- Develop pricing and employee contribution strategies and model plan design alternatives
- Calculate reserves and review technical accuracy on client engagements
- Client-facing role supporting new business, cross-selling, and vendor/employer relationships
- Member of the Financial Actuarial & Analytics (FAA) Community of Expertise
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Employer-sponsored health plan consulting
- Group life and disability plan financial analysis
- Pricing and employee contribution strategy development
- Modeling plan design alternatives and calculating reserves
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Advanced knowledge of benefit plan design, underwriting/funding, and post-retirement concepts
- Proven experience leading actuarial or financial engagements for employer/group benefits
- Ability to develop pricing strategies and model plan design alternatives
- Experience calculating and reviewing reserves for group benefit programs
