JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead business development and client relationships in managed Medicaid and commercial health
- Advise on pricing, reserving, forecasting, reinsurance, and enterprise risk management
- Manage actuarial and cross-functional teams and multiple client engagements
- Design data-driven analyses using claims data and complex actuarial models
- Remote role; candidates may work onsite at Milliman offices if preferred
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Managed Medicaid experience
- Individual and group commercial health insurance experience
- Pricing, reserving, and forecasting expertise
- Reinsurance and enterprise risk management experience
- Business development and market expansion leadership
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 15+ years of related actuarial and/or business development experience
- FSA certification required
- Subject matter expertise in managed Medicaid and individual/group commercial health
- Executive leadership experience managing actuarial and cross-functional teams
- Programming knowledge with SAS and Excel VBA; advanced Microsoft Office proficiency
