JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Lead personal insurance predictive modeling (personal auto, and optionally homeowners)
  • Manage a team of data scientists and actuaries in the Actuarial Strategic Modeling team
  • Develop and deploy frequency, severity, and loss-cost ML models in Python/R
  • Hybrid role with expectation of 3 days/week in office (Tue–Thu) in hub locations
  • Director-level role with management responsibility and strategic influence

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Personal auto predictive modeling
  • Homeowners predictive modeling (optional based on background)
  • End-to-end modeling lifecycle management
  • Experience building ML/statistical models for frequency and severity
  • Experience with SQL and cloud platforms (Snowflake, SageMaker)

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Prior management experience leading analytics or modeling teams
  • Expertise in statistical modeling and machine learning in Python and/or R
  • Experience across the end-to-end modeling lifecycle, including validation and monitoring
  • Experience with SQL and cloud-native environments (e.g., Snowflake, SageMaker)
