HIGHLIGHTS

Director of Reserving (P&C - Workers' Compensation) in Omaha, NE. Lead the reserving team, oversee quarterly loss and LAE reserves, and provide data for external financial reporting. JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Lead reserving for Workers' Compensation and manage a team of actuaries and analysts
  • Oversee quarterly loss and loss adjustment expense reserve analyses
  • Select and defend actuarial assumptions and methods to senior leaders
  • Use MS-Excel, MS-Access and MS-SQL; Willis Towers Watson ResQ experience preferred
  • Hybrid role — up to 2 days remote per week; reports to Chief Actuary

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Workers compensation reserving
  • Loss and loss adjustment expense (LAE) reserving
  • Quarterly reserving and external financial reporting
  • Experience with Willis Towers Watson ResQ

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • FCAS or ACAS designation required
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant FCAS experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, or related field required
  • Proven experience managing a reserving/actuarial team
  • Familiarity with Excel, MS-Access and MS-SQL
