Strategic Risk Consulting

Strategic Risk Consulting (SRC) is a part of the wider Risk & Analytics division within Corporate Risk and Broking, which provides an integrated approach to risk management in the current complex global business environment. SRC is a diverse team, with a global footprint and consists of actuaries, engineers, natural catastrophe modelers and enterprise risk management specialists. SRC helps companies identify, quantify, and prioritize their major risks, and connect risk management decisions to corporate financial performance.

The Role

You will be providing high quality consulting and technical services to our corporate clients across the world, collaborating with colleagues across our global hubs. The ideal candidate will be involved in building out our data capability, showing complicated information, simply, vividly and beautifully, using cutting edge technological solutions.

The work we do is centred around improving our client's ability to manage risk. Whether that is through tailoring their risk transfer to the insurance market, detailing the optimum path to managing their non insurable risks or just detailing the risks they face in the first place. A good candidate will be able to quickly pick up on our current solutions, articulate them in a clear way to our clients and work to deliver the best result in a collaborative manner.

The Responsibilities
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with internal WTW client relationship managers and client contacts through effective communication and quality execution of projects
  • Participate in developing new business opportunities and enhancing existing relationships
  • Perform modeling analysis for each client risk by applying standard actuarial techniques as well as utilizing WTW proprietary tools and innovations
  • Manage and exceed client expectations on the timeliness as well as delivery of results in reports and presentations
  • Ensure quality of work by participating in our peer reviewing process
  • Participate in Research & Development of new initiatives
