Role Summary

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Certify actuarial valuations and prepare pension reports for defined benefit and cash balance plans
Manage PBGC, IRS determination filings and ASC 715 pension accounting deliverables
Provide technical training and review work of other teams
Use Excel and industry pension valuation software to produce client deliverables
Senior individual contributor reporting to the FuturePlan Lead Actuary

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Enrolled Actuary designation with 5 years industry experience
Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or related field
Advanced understanding of pension law, plan documents, and IRS determination letters
Proven expertise with Excel and industry pension valuation software
Experience preparing ASC 715 accounting and PBGC/Form 500 filings
