JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Prepare, review, and certify actuarial valuations and ASC 715/960 reporting
  • Work on small-plan DB, Cash Balance, and DB/DC combo plans
  • Manage your own caseload and review work prepared by others
  • Use Microsoft Excel and industry pension valuation software
  • Position based in Tampa, FL with Ascensus' FuturePlan team

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Small-plan Defined Benefit pension experience
  • Cash Balance plan valuation and administration
  • DB/DC combo plan administration
  • Pension law and IRS/PBGC filings experience
  • Actuarial valuations using industry pension software

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Enrolled Actuary designation (required)
  • Minimum 5 years industry experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, math, or related field
  • Advanced knowledge of pension law, plan documents, and IRS/PBGC filings
  • Proven expertise with Excel and pension valuation software
