JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Prepare, review, and certify actuarial valuations and related client deliverables
  • Handle compliance filings including Form 5500 and PBGC premium/termination forms
  • Provide technical training and answer technical questions for staff
  • Use industry pension valuation software and advanced Excel for analyses

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Small-market Defined Benefit plan valuations
  • Cash Balance and DB/DC combo plan experience
  • ASC 715/960 valuation experience
  • Form 5500 and PBGC filing experience
  • Experience with IRS determination filings and plan documents

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Enrolled Actuary designation with 5 years industry experience
  • Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, math, or related field
  • Advanced understanding of pension law, plan documents, and IRS determinations
  • Proven expertise with actuarial valuation software and advanced Excel
  • Ability to prepare and certify ASC 715/960 valuations and compliance filings
