Closer to client-facing consulting than a reserving cycle role because the work spans plan sponsors, proposals, filings, and plan decisions rather than one recurring close.
Senior Retirement actuarial consulting role for defined benefit plans, available remotely from Pennsylvania. You’ll review valuations and government filings, advise plan sponsors on funding and termination decisions, support client work, and mentor analysts. The role requires an Enrolled Actuary certification or nearing enrollment and 5+ years of DB plan administration experience.
Requirements
Must have
- Uninterrupted virtual workspace and 50 MBps internet connection during business hours
Strongly preferred
- Enrolled Actuary certification (or nearing enrollment)
- 5+ years of experience in defined benefit plan administration
- Passion for client service
Nice to have
- FT Williams valuation software experience
- 1+ year of small plan sales projection experience
