Closer to client-facing consulting than a reserving cycle role because plan sponsor advice and varied plan lifecycle work sit alongside regulatory production.

Senior Retirement actuarial consulting role serving defined benefit and 401(k) plans, available remotely from Wilmington, Delaware. You will review regulatory filings and valuations, advise plan sponsors on ERISA and funding matters, support plan terminations, and mentor actuarial staff. Enrolled Actuary certification is required or expected soon, with 5+ years of defined benefit administration experience.

Requirements

Must have

  • Enrolled Actuary certification (or nearing enrollment)
  • 5+ years of experience in defined benefit plan administration

Strongly preferred

  • Passion for client service
  • Strong technical knowledge of ERISA requirements
  • Proficiency with various software applications for plan administration

Nice to have

  • FT Williams valuation software experience
  • 1+ year of small plan sales projection experience
