Senior retirement actuarial role focused on defined benefit, cash balance and DB/DC combo plan valuations. You will review and certify actuarial valuations, ASC 715/960 reporting, PBGC and Form 5500 filings, and ensure compliance with pension law. Role is based in Tampa, FL and reports to the FuturePlan Lead Actuary.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Review and certify actuarial valuations and client deliverables for DB and Cash Balance plans
- Prepare ASC 715/960 accounting, PBGC filings and Form 5500 support
- Research pension law, IRS determination letters and non-discrimination testing
- Use industry pension valuation software and advanced Excel for deliverables
- Based in Tampa, FL; reports to the FuturePlan Lead Actuary
DOMAIN EXPERTISE

KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Enrolled Actuary designation required
- Minimum 5 years industry experience
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, math or related field
- Advanced knowledge of pension law, plan documents and valuation software
- Strong Excel skills and accuracy/detail orientation
