You will perform DB/Cash Balance valuations, PBGC and government reporting, nondiscrimination testing, and advise on plan design. This U.S.-based remote position is client-facing and requires an Enrolled Actuary with retirement plan experience.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Perform DB and Cash Balance plan valuations and interpret results for clients
- Prepare PBGC reports and regulatory filings including AFTAP and Schedule B
- Conduct nondiscrimination testing and 401(k) valuations/trust accounting
- Fully remote role for U.S.-based candidates
- Ideal for an Enrolled Actuary with 3+ years of retirement plan experience
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Defined Benefit and Cash Balance valuations
- PBGC report preparation and filings
- Nondiscrimination testing and compliance
- AFTAP certifications and Schedule B filings
- 401(k) valuations, trust accounting, and government reporting
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Enrolled Actuary (EA) designation required
- 3+ years of retirement plan experience with DB/Cash Balance focus
- Experience with PBGC filings, AFTAP certifications, and Schedule B
- Strong knowledge of nondiscrimination testing and compliance
- Familiarity with Relius, FT William, or similar administration systems
