JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Enrolled Actuary role focused on Cash Balance / Defined Benefit plan valuations
- Perform nondiscrimination testing and government filings (Form 5500, Schedule SB)
- Prepare and review FASB/ASC 715 reporting and certify AFTAP and contribution amounts
- Fully remote position available anywhere in the United States
- Requires at least 5 years’ experience as an Enrolled Actuary
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Cash Balance plan valuation and administration
- Defined Benefit plan actuarial valuations
- 410(b), 401(a)(4) and 415 nondiscrimination testing
- Preparation and review of Form 5500 and Schedule SB filings
- PBGC filings, notices, and audit representation
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Enrolled Actuary credential (Joint Board for the Enrollment of Actuaries) required
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Enrolled Actuary with small plan experience
- Hands-on experience with DB/Cash Balance plan valuations and nondiscrimination testing
- Authorized to work in the United States (role performed anywhere in the US)
