HIGHLIGHTS

Senior life actuarial valuation role focused on institutional products and Pension Risk Transfer. You will lead monthly US GAAP, statutory and tax valuation and capital analyses (AAT, RBC C3, PBR) and oversee junior actuarial staff. Role is based in Chesterfield, MO with remote eligibility and frequent cross-functional interaction with finance, investments, pricing and risk teams.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Lead monthly valuation and analysis for institutional life/annuity and PRT business
Produce US GAAP, Statutory and Tax reserves; AAT, RBC C3 and PBR analyses
Manage and mentor junior actuarial/financial associates
Work with Prophet and database tools (Access/Oracle/SQL) to maintain models
Remote-eligible role based in Chesterfield, MO

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

life insurance or reinsurance valuation
pension risk transfer valuation and analytics
annuity product modeling (fixed, variable, FIA, SPIA)
US GAAP, Statutory and Tax valuation experience
Prophet actuarial modeling experience

KEY REQUIREMENTS

7+ years actuarial experience in life insurance or reinsurance
FSA accreditation and MAAA membership required
Bachelor’s degree in math, actuarial science, finance, or related field
Advanced valuation and financial reporting experience (GAAP/Stat/Tax)
Proficient with Prophet and database tools (Access, Oracle, SQL)
