Lead actuarial and healthcare economics for Banner Insurance Operations in Phoenix, AZ
Own pricing, rate development and regulatory filings including CMS and state DOI
Manage actuarial team and supervise direct and matrixed staff
Lead Medicare Advantage and Prescription Drug (MA-PD) bid pricing and product strategy
Work with Excel/VBA, SAS, R and Tableau for analysis and reporting

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

health actuarial services and leadership
MA-PD bid pricing and submission experience
rate filings to CMS, HHS and state DOI
Medicaid, Commercial and Medicare product familiarity
reserves review in support of audits

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Fellowship of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) required
10+ years of health actuarial experience with supervisory background
7+ years of MA-PD bid experience required
Experience with pricing, rate filings to CMS/HHS/state DOI
Proficiency with Excel (VBA), SAS, R and data visualization (Tableau)
