Role Summary

HIGHLIGHTS

Senior life & annuities hedging leader based in Addison, TX. You will design and run a scalable derivatives and hedging program for life insurance and annuity products (IUL, FIA, MYGA, RILA), oversee hedge effectiveness and capital impacts, and lead a small team while partnering with investments, actuarial, and finance.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Lead design and implementation of hedging program for life and annuity products
Oversee day-to-day hedge operations and monitor hedge effectiveness metrics
Partner with investment, actuarial, and finance teams on product launches and M&A
Build and manage a 2–3 person hedging/execution and analytics team
Hybrid role — expected in office four days per week (onsite core days)

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

Hedging program design and implementation in insurance or reinsurance
Experience with IUL, FIA, MYGA and RILA product economics
Hedge effectiveness metrics, VaR and P&L attribution for hedges

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Proven experience designing and implementing hedging programs in insurance/reinsurance
Broad knowledge of life and annuity products including IUL, FIA, MYGA, and RILA
Experience balancing risk management with capital efficiency objectives
Strong leadership and communication skills to lead a small team
Must be authorized to work in the US; employer does not offer visa sponsorship
