Entry-level Health actuarial analyst role in Dallas, Texas, supporting Gallagher Benefit Services’ health and benefits consulting work. You’ll analyze data, perform actuarial calculations, build healthcare cost and risk models, and help prepare client reports across valuation, compliance, and reserve projects.

Requirements

Must have

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications and Microsoft Office

Strongly preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
  • Studying for actuarial exams
  • Experience using Excel or a similar spreadsheet tool to sort, filter and review data
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to check calculations and spot data issues
  • Able to explain findings in simple terms in writing and in meetings
  • Ability to manage several tasks and meet deadlines
