JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Build financial models and client-specific reports for employee benefits plans
- Perform IBNR reserve analysis and stop-loss sensitivity for self-insured clients
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly claims and budget reporting
- Proficiency with Excel, Power Query, Power BI and VBA expected
- Hybrid role based in Atlanta; ideal for candidates with 3+ years benefits experience
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Employee benefits consulting or carrier experience
- Group insurance marketplace and alternative funding methods
- Claims and utilization trend analysis
- Financial modeling of plan designs and stop-loss recovery
- IBNR reserve analysis
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of employee benefits experience with a broker/consultant or carrier
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Query, Power BI and VBA
- Experience with claims, utilization trend analysis and renewal projections
- Experience performing IBNR reserve and stop-loss recovery analysis
- Willingness to obtain a Life & Health license within 90 days of hire
