HIGHLIGHTS

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Support statutory business projections and monthly/quarterly roll-forwards
  • Maintain and analyze Loss and IBNR positions for risk-bearing entities
  • Prepare loss development reporting and coordinate external actuarial reviews
  • Assist with reinsurance renewal preparation, ORSA dashboards, and regulatory filings
  • Work in Portland, ME as an individual contributor; strong Excel/Access skills required

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Statutory business projections and roll-forwards
  • Loss and IBNR maintenance and analysis
  • Loss development reporting and external actuarial coordination
  • Reinsurance renewal preparation support
  • Financial statement and P&L reporting analysis

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 1 year of finance or equivalent experience
  • Understanding of complex accounting procedures and financial statement reporting
  • Experience maintaining Loss and IBNR positions and loss development reporting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint; willingness to use PowerBI
  • Strong communication skills for interaction with regulators, auditors, and leadership
