JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Draft actuarial loss reserve reviews and perform method and assumption selection
- Support group-wide reserving governance and IFRS17/ICS financial reporting
- Participate in IRAC and GPA department modernization and research projects
- Use R and/or Python for analyses; gather and reconcile reserving data
- Hybrid role based in New York City
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- property/casualty actuarial experience
- loss reserve review and reserving methodology
- IFRS17 and ICS financial reporting experience
- actuarial governance or reserving process familiarity
- proficiency in R or Python for analysis
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years of property/casualty actuarial experience
- 3+ actuarial exams completed
- Proficient in R and/or Python
- Experience performing loss reserve reviews or reserving analyses
