Role Summary

HIGHLIGHTS

Executive P&C claims leadership role (Global Head of Technical Claims & Exposure Management) responsible for global large-loss governance, exposure management, and reserving oversight. You will lead a global practice community, partner with actuarial and risk functions, and present insights to senior leadership. Senior, global role based in Hartford/remote-hybrid with international travel expected.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Lead global large-loss governance and exposure management across lines and geographies
Own development of the Large Loss Framework and drive reserving accuracy and lessons learned
Manage Global Practice leaders and lead Major Event Management and MERC participation
Partner with Data & Analytics to evolve claims data insights and present to Claims Risk Committee
Hybrid role open to candidates from multiple locations; some international travel required

Deep Major Event/Catastrophe and Exposure Management experience
Extensive claims experience across Property, Casualty, Specialty and Financial Lines
Proven global people leadership with direct management experience
Robust knowledge of multi-jurisdictional insurance coverage law and regulations
Fluent in English; additional European language (e.g. French or German) desirable
