Health actuarial analyst role focused on Medicare and Dual Eligible (D-SNP) lines. You will lead monthly reserving (IBNR and accruals), support forecasting and Premium Deficiency Reserve calculations, and provide pricing and bid support. Hybrid role based in Somerville, MA, reporting to the Director of Actuarial Reserving, Forecasting & Risk Management Support.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead monthly reserving (IBNR and other actuarial accruals) for Medicare and D-SNP
- Support quarterly forecasting and Premium Deficiency Reserve calculations
- Provide pricing support and contribute to Medicare/D-SNP bid preparation
- Develop actuarial analyses, dashboards, and presentations for leadership
- Hybrid role – 3 days per week onsite in Somerville, MA
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Medicare and D-SNP reserving and pricing
- IBNR and actuarial accruals
- Premium Deficiency Reserve forecasting
- Regulatory and financial reporting including audits
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline required
- 2+ years of actuarial analysis experience (2–3 years preferred)
- Proficiency in Excel, VBA, SQL, and SAS
