  • Set and review healthcare budget rates for self-insured plans
  • Perform IBNP reserve development and supporting reserving analysis
  • Develop models to evaluate cost-saving scenarios and present to clients
  • Hybrid role across Seattle, Phoenix, Utah, and Denver locations

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Health and benefits actuarial work
  • Experience at HR consulting, outsourcing firm, broker, or carrier
  • Self-insured plan rate setting and budgeting
  • IBNP reserve development

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of health and benefits actuarial work experience
  • ASA actuarial designation or close to achieving ASA
  • Experience at HR consulting, outsourcing firm, broker, or health carrier
  • Experience setting self-insured plan rates and IBNP reserve work
