Head of Actuarial Pricing Analytics for North America at AIG focused on commercial P&C lines. You will lead modelling & advanced analytics, build and govern predictive modelling pipelines (AWS Sagemaker, Radar/Emblem), and partner with product actuaries and underwriters to calibrate raters and drive adoption of AI-enabled tools. Role based in Chicago, IL.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead Modelling & Advanced Analytics for North America commercial P&C portfolio
- Own delivery of predictive modelling pipelines on AWS Sagemaker and Radar
- Drive adoption of AI/GenAI techniques and modelling governance
- Manage and mentor multiple junior actuaries and technical resources
- Role primarily onsite in Chicago, IL; senior leadership position (Head)
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Technical pricing or predictive modelling experience
- Delivering modelling pipelines on cloud platforms (eg. AWS Sagemaker)
- Experience with Emblem or Radar modelling solutions
- Embedding model governance, validation and documentation standards
- Commercial lines experience (casualty, property, financial lines, specialty)
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 10+ years of relevant experience in technical pricing, actuarial or predictive modelling
- Degree in a mathematical or computer science related discipline (required)
- Advanced coding skills in R or Python and strong software engineering practices
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Sagemaker) and Emblem/Radar pipelines (preferred)
- Proven leadership delivering modelling projects and managing junior staff
