HIGHLIGHTS

Senior P&C casualty pricing leader based in Chicago (remote/hybrid options). You will lead casualty pricing for primary GL and excess casualty across US and Bermuda platforms, own pricing model development and adoption, manage a small team, and partner with underwriting and data & analytics on large-account pricing and portfolio monitoring.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Lead casualty pricing across Primary GL and Excess Casualty lines
  • Build, maintain, and scale rating and pricing models
  • Manage and develop a team of 3-4 casualty pricing actuaries
  • Partner with underwriters on large-account pricing and portfolio monitoring
  • Flexible location with remote and in-office options; occasional travel

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Long-tail commercial lines pricing
  • Primary and excess casualty pricing
  • Commercial auto, general liability and construction risk pricing
  • Rate monitoring and portfolio segmentation analysis
  • Predictive analytics and large-account pricing

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • 15+ years of actuarial pricing experience, including long-tail commercial lines
  • FCAS required
  • Primary and excess casualty pricing experience in commercial auto and GL
  • Experience managing and developing remote actuarial teams
  • Proficiency in SQL and R or Python
