Closer to an underwriting partnership role than a pure modelling-heavy IC position because pricing judgment and portfolio decisions are made alongside live business teams.

Director-level P&C reinsurance pricing role in New York, leading Casualty pricing and analytics for US and Canadian business. You will manage four actuaries, support underwriters across multiple casualty lines, maintain global pricing models, assess portfolio profitability, and partner with executive management, Enterprise Risk Management, and Capital Modeling.

  • Qualified actuary (FCAS) or extensive experience
  • Relevant pricing experience within P&C reinsurance industry
  • Experience managing small teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
