Head-level actuarial finance role focused on annuity reinsurance reporting and FP&A. You will lead budgeting, produce board and investor reporting, and build financial models to support capital, ALM and regulatory (BMA/BSCR/EBS) requirements. Remote-friendly across the Eastern US with periodic office travel.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead FP&A, annual budgeting and multi-year forecasting for annuity portfolios
- Produce management and Board reporting, KPI dashboards, and variance analysis
- Develop scenario and sensitivity financial models to support capital and ALM
- Partner with actuarial and investments on liabilities, ALM and treaty performance
- Remote-friendly (Eastern US) with periodic monthly office visits
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Financial reporting under US GAAP and Bermuda EBS/BSCR frameworks
- Annuity portfolio financial planning, forecasting and scenario analysis
- Reinsurance structures including coinsurance, modco and funds withheld
- ALM and investment analysis for annuity and funding agreements
- Investor relations and rating agency presentation experience
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- FSA designation required
- At least 10 years of relevant actuarial experience
- Experience with US GAAP and/or Bermuda EBS/BSCR financial reporting
- Thorough understanding of reinsurance structures (coinsurance, modco, funds withheld)
- Proficiency with actuarial modelling tools or languages (e.g., Prophet, R, Python)
